Legends Cup

How to play

Legends Cup is a free cricket draft game. You build an all-time one-day XI from real Cricket World Cup squads, then simulate a six-match tournament ball by ball. No sign-up, no download.

1. Choose your team shape

Pick how your XI is balanced: Batting depth (six batters, a keeper, one all-rounder, three bowlers), Balanced (five, one, two, three) or Bowling attack (four, one, two, four). Each side bowls 50 overs, so with fewer than five real bowling options your part-timers have to fill the gap.

2. Pick a style

Aggressive teams hit more boundaries but lose more wickets. Watchful teams protect their wickets and score more slowly. Balanced sits in between. Style also changes how your bowlers attack.

3. Draft your XI

  1. Each roll draws one World Cup side, such as India 2011 or West Indies 1979.
  2. Take one player from that squad into an open slot that matches their role.
  3. You have three re-rolls if a squad doesn't suit you.
  4. Legends carry a gold seal. The same player can't be picked twice from different years.

4. Play the tournament

Your XI plays three group games against real World Cup sides, with a live table and net run rate. The top two go through to a quarter-final, semi-final and final. Every match is simulated ball by ball with a full scorecard and player of the match.

5. Chase the perfect six

Win all six matches to become unbeaten champions. Bowl out all six opponents along the way for an extra badge. Even an all-time XI only manages it around half the time.

Modes

Almanac mode hides every rating, so you pick on name and memory alone. Today's deck gives every player in the world the same squads and opponents for the day, so you can compare results with friends.
