36→1

Draft an XI from 35 great Premier League team-seasons, 93/94 to 24/25. Every player played for that side that season. Then take them into a 36-team European competition in today's format: an eight-game league phase, knockout play-offs, two-legged ties and a one-off final.

The Premier League's greatest XI, in the modern European format

Legendary EPL is a free football draft game. Put Thierry Henry from 03/04 up front with Cristiano Ronaldo from 07/08, Kevin De Bruyne from 17/18 behind them and Virgil van Dijk from 19/20 at the back, all inside a transfer budget.

Your XI joins 35 legendary sides, split into four pots. Each team plays eight different opponents, two from each pot, four at home and four away, in one 36-team table. The top eight go straight to the round of 16. Places 9 to 24 play two-legged knockout play-offs. From there it's two-legged ties to the final, with extra time and penalties when it's level.
